Most sociologists, psychologists and media experts all have the same theory about how the media effects audiences and what it will do to future generations and how they will act. For example Children could be watching a movie that has aggressive content and they could try to copy it. Also some movies could be completely innocent and just show a range of action like the Spider man movies However children will try to copy it also and risk their lives. This also applies to video games as it ha shown to have severe affects on the youth. Therefore to prevent such acts most movies and video games have an age limit and most shops are not allowed to sell these products to avoid those problems. The media could be negative and positive , in most cases its negative. This is because its been controlled and manipulated by certain people in power that only want to show their view or their side op an opinion that could be negative and falsely stereotyping a certain group in society. This applies to newspapers and articles. Most audiences will believe this news story and the way its been portrait , this is because it could be repeated multiple of times to make sure it sticks in the audiences memories. This will therefore have severe affects on audiences as society could get disrupted and will become unequal. The media is a very powerful tool , if it lands into the wrong hands it could ruin societies and create borders amongst people. However the bright side of media is that it brings people together and there is plenty of resources available to gain more knowledge. In most cases audiences like to go against this negativity and like to gain their own power and believe what they want to believe and try to convince other people to be on the same page and open their minds. another negative aspect that relates to Culture effects is that it can make certain audiences mostly young girls very insecure by seeing Photoshop context that makes them think they should look like that to be accepted into society. supermodels have been highly airbrushed removing all flaws to make them look "perfect" , this could cause them to be self-conscious and have metal issues as they think its real and have no clue that its all there to place a label to how a women should look like. This is therefore a negative affect that the media has on future generations.
