Intellectual properties

Understanding intellectual properties

The meaning of intellectual properties explained in detail is when a company protects an original idea they have invented. This is because many other companies or influencers tend to steal idea or products and change it to make it less visible that it is the same invention only changed. Many people buy or create Trademarks such as logos to protect their products. This logo will indicate that the idea is from this company and it cant be sold in another company or copied. The trademark is also there to make it better to identify the company who created it and make people recognise it which causes the products to gain popularity. as mentioned before many companies change the original idea to make it less visible that they have stolen it , they do this because the people that have stolen the idea can go to court or pay a high price. Some low income countries tend to copy products such as handbags , shoes and many more items and sell them for cheaper. Another way to describe this whole process this called Copy right. This is where the company has rights to defend their idea in court and making sure no other company sells it. Copy right is used in products , consumer items and media. The movie industry takes advantage of some of those idea , for example the movie Snow white is original a book made by Brothers Grimm in 1812 , but has been taken over by Disney and made into a variety of versions under different companies.
